Global Origins is building toward a revolving microloan model through Global Origins Market for independent farmers, makers, artisans, and small producers with a specific growth need — such as equipment, production materials, infrastructure, storage, packaging, or other practical capacity-building projects. The goal is simple: help viable producers make more of what they already do well while maintaining ownership and control of their work.
The Producer Growth Fund is still in development. Before any public money is accepted, Global Origins Market intends to publish the program structure, producer criteria, loan terms, treatment of repayments, administrative costs, and reporting standards.
